what we do
Welcome to our flowery home. Here we specialise in pressing and preserving your special occasion flowers and turning them into artworks. We are Cape Town based and work with flowers from across South Africa.
Alongside Bouquet Preservation, we create commissioned floral artworks, floral stationery and decor for events, and love to share in the flower pressing experience with immersive flower pressing workshops and creative sessions.

We believe in the beauty of traditional wood press preservation, where your flowers are carefully pressed and preserved, petal by petal, before moving onto the design and framing stage to create your artwork.
We offer multiple frame sizes, wood options and layout styles for you to choose from so each piece truly is custom created for you.
Each artwork is hand crafted by our little team, in collaboration with our local framers, to give you a unique piece of art that holds meaning for you, while also supporting local small businesses.

Get in touch via email or the online enquiry form. Remember to include the wedding/ event date and feel free to check in with any questions you may have and any special requests.

We will send you
framing and design
options, and chat about any questions you have.
Make your selections
to receive your invoice for your deposit. Payment of your deposit will book your spot in the press.

Drop off of or courier your flowers to us at the studio within a few days of your event. If you are based outside of Cape Town, let us know and we will send you some guidelines to safely pack and post your flowers to us.

Your flowers will be pressed and preserved in traditional wood presses. Once preserved we will reach out to you with your balance of payment. Once received we will work on some designs to send to you for approval.

Your flowers will be secured in place into your keepsake artwork for you to cherish. The full process can take around 16-20 weeks until you have your flowers back in your hands.

Pricing ranges from R2050 to R5700 depending on your frame size and shape preferences. Please reach out via our contact page to have a look through our framing and design options.
Flower Pressing Workshops
Join us for a relaxed afternoon, surrounded by florals, for an immersive flower pressing workshop and creative session. Choose your florals to press, and work with our collection of pressed petals and foliage to create artworks of your own.
You will receive a flower press kit to take home, with a variety of fresh florals to press, your own double glass frame to design an artwork using our collection on pressed florals and of course there will be a variety of treats and beverages available.
Our next workshop will be held on the 7th December at Maanskyn, Greyton - R890 per person

flower press kits
Handcrafted and locally produced, adventure sized flower pressed kits. Our flower presses are 20x22cm, each press includes solid wood front and back, stainless steel hardware, separators and some tips and tricks on preserving garden blooms. Price : R540 each, with an R80 courier fee across SA.
