About Us

hello

My love for flower preservation began as a little girl, when my Greek grandfather (Papou) made me my very first traditional wood flower press. A glass artist and passionate gardener, he passed down his appreciation for craftsmanship, creativity, and nature through our family — values that still guide us today.

The name LOULOU comes from the Greek word louloudi, meaning flowers — inspired by my grandfather and heritage.

Years later, while working in a corporate role and searching for a more creative outlet, I returned to pressing flowers. As friends and colleagues began getting married, I started preserving and framing their wedding blooms as heartfelt gifts — a way for them to hold onto their special day. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into something more, and within a year floral preservation became my full-time focus.

Today, LOULOU is a full-time preservation studio with a small dedicated team, having carefully preserved over a thousand bouquets over the past three years. We create meaningful botanical art, share our joy and experience with flowers through workshops and take on freelance floristry when we have capacity too. (Can you tell we love flowers and hearty moments)

What We Do

We specialise in wedding bouquet preservation and sentimental floral keepsakes, carefully pressing and arranging each flower by hand to create one-of-a-kind framed artworks.

Every piece is completely unique — just like the story behind it. From bridal bouquets and anniversary flowers to memorial blooms and custom artworks, we honour the natural beauty of each flower while transforming it into a meaningful artwork that can last a lifetime.

Alongside our preservation work, we also host creative floral workshops and hands-on sessions, offering others the opportunity to slow down while exploring botanical art in a relaxed environment.

Our Philosophy

Our process is slow, intentional, and deeply personal. Your flowers represent an important chapter in your life, and it’s a privilege to be entrusted with them.

Behind the scenes, we collaborate with local businesses for our frames and materials, and work alongside a small in-studio team who help ensure every artwork is finished to the highest standard. Longevity of your keepsakes is our priority, so we work with suppliers who can ensure the quality we believe in.

Through our community initiative, Flowers for Cause, we offer complimentary workshop sessions to organisations, using spare flowers from our studio, as a way to foster creativity, connection and joy, allowing the flowers not used in your keepsakes a second chance at bringing joy to under-resourced communities.

Each order truly means the world to us, and we feel honoured to play a small part in preserving your memories.
